Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother found dead

The mother and brother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson were found shot to death in the mother's Chicago home on Friday, media reported.

Police said they were searching for a suspect in the double homicide and also a seven-year-old boy, possibly Hudson's nephew, who was missing from the house on Chicago's South Side where the victims were found.

The Chicago Tribune said one of the victims was Hudson's mother, Darnell Donnerson. The entertainment website TMZ, citing a neighbor, said Hudson's brother Jason also was found dead.

Police said neighbors reported hearing shots in the area during the morning but the bodies were not found until mid-afternoon.

"A missing child was possibly abducted from the scene ... and may be in the company of William Balfour, a suspect in the double homicide investigation," police said in a statement, adding that the man was "considered armed and dangerous."

The statement listed two vehicles Balfour may be driving. It did not say who Balfour was or whether he was related to the family.

Police said the child was identified as Julian King, adding they believed he was the grandson of the woman found slain.

The Tribune, quoting police, said the killings may be linked to a domestic disturbance.

Media reports said Hudson was in Florida when she was told of the shootings and was headed back to Chicago.

Today was full of surprises, I was accused of turning on one of my best friends, which is weird because this nigga has been like a brother to me for the past 2 years, which is crazy because it takes alot for me to consider someone blood, and pretty much it surrounded love decisions, pretty much I'm real close to someone right now, who I considering settling in with for a minute, and as most musicians now, its extremely difficult being one than one person at a time, basically dating numerous people, as for me, there is alot of shit to learn about women and there personalities like and dislikes and I've been there done that, to the point to where no matter what the headcase or the cheater or whatever the fuck, i can handle it.....believe....but long story short......everything will be let out on this album...believe me...THE PHOBIA.....

10.19.08, working on my second album, and this is the most emotional work I have ever crafted. I feel music is at a state where, cars, money, women, and swag rule and artist don't allow you to get in touch with them, you have no idea who the man is behind the music. My debut album "The Champions" which is available now was more of a novel, a cinematic film that brought a different angle to westcoast artist. I don't even feel like a westcoast producer, I feel there is no box anybody should lock him-self in. T.I. debuts at number 1

The King is rightfully back on his throne according to Soundscan. T.I.'s Paper Trail wheeled in close to 570,000 copies it's first week, landing him the number one spot.

Game, and Jeezy remain in the top 20, as each are nearing their way towards gold. Wayne also remains strong with the Tha Carter III by 34,000 this week.

What came as a surprise to many, was the presence of LA Rapper Murs. His album "Murs For President" cracked the top 50, entering at #43, selling close to 13,000 records.

Things appear glommy for Mr. "G.O.A.T." LL Cool J as he appears to be slipping on the charts. After a releasing his album just a month ago, LL's Exit 13 has only been able to pull in 75,000 records.

Will T.I. continue his reign on top for another week?

Yo!!!, I would personally like to thank everyone who has been a part of this album movement along with the promoters websites and supporters. The album is moving pretty well via digital download also physical copies. Thank you to KBreeze and SDLEntertainment for a wonderful album release party which launched off everything. Thank you to Mixunit.com and Theconcretejournal.com. Thanks to Kevin Nottingtonham everybody thank you, i've been receiving alot of positive feed back. But outside of that the show goes on. Pretty much i'm staying bizzy still, awaiting the "JaeBeast" project from myself and Jae Nice which is a hip-hop edition to the catalogue and pays homeage to the incredible Madlib and JDilla album "JayLib". The project pretty much has been written and ready for recording. There will be a follow-up, yes more work lol to it called "DreBeast", with an incredible R&B/Soul vocalist Diondre , its an extreme blessing working with these two talents its crazy. Outside of that starting like late December early 09' will be "The Champions" follow-up, "C2: The Reagan Era", its gonna be the second chapter to the debut. The debut was real 70's base, and i'm doing era's so you figure in out. And around the same time i'll be working on a very personal project callled "Malaxophobia". This album is gonna be something I can't begin to explain. But stay tuned and enjoy, i'll keep you guys posted...
